Candi Workman is the founder and president of In’Finite ArtSports, Inc. Her vision began with the desire to offer gymnastics, tumbling & trampoline, dance, cheer, and martial arts in one unique complex. These are all activities she enjoyed as a child and into adulthood. Why not offer them all in one location? This has been the goal of In’Finite ArtSports, Inc. since opening on June 4, 2012.

Ms. Workman (or Coach Candi as you will hear her being called in the gym) is a professional gymnastics coach, choreographer, dancer and event coordinator with over 20 years experience. Miss Workman's career as a dancer, choreographer and gymnast began at age seven. After competing gymnastics for six years at Jewart's Gymnastics in Pittsburgh, she continued her dance and theatre training. During her childhood she played many principal and supporting roles like the Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof, the White Stag in Narnia and Helen Keller in the Miracle Worker.

After high school, Candi continued her dance education at Point Park University and La Roche College. She trained in jazz, tap, ballet, folk, and various forms of modern dance. She attributes her dance success in college to her gymnastics and dance training as a child. While in college she taught dance to gymnasts in Pennsylvania and worked her way to becoming the USA-G Level 7-10 assistant gymnastics coach and head choreographer for the Pittsburgh Northstars; her childhood gym. In 2003 she moved to Colorado where she worked as a choreographer, pre-team gymnastics director, team coach and gym manager for Airborne Gymnastics & Dance until she moved to Mississippi in 2011. Since moving to Mississippi, Coach Candi has been the choreographer for the University of Georgia Gymnastics Camp. She has also been a gymnastics camp coach for LSU and Alabama.

From 2006-2010, she was the choreographer for the University of Denver Women’s Gymnastics Team. In 2009 Candi composed and coached the gymnastics floor choreography for 2009 NCAA Regional Floor Champion and Venezuelan Olympian, Jessica Lopez. Over her career, Miss Workman has choreographed and coached state, regional and national winning floor and beam routines for various private gymnastics clubs across the country including Colorado, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2017, she choreographed for members of the Iowa State Women’s Gymnastics Team in Ames, Iowa.

In 2010, the University of Denver approached her about becoming the DU meet director and she accepted. In her first season she directed the 2011 North Central Regional Championships with great success. Since then she has been the meet director for the Midwest Independent Conference Championships and USA-G Collegiate National Championships held at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Coach Candi holds a USA-G Professional Membership, Meet Director Certification and is CPR and Safe Sport Certified. She has a B.S. in Movement Arts Administration from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her degree combines her education in dance with business knowledge; two things she loves. She is currently a member of the MS-USAG State Gymnastics Committee which helps shape the sport in Mississippi.

Aside from coaching, choreographing and directing events, Candi loves movies and the theatre. In her free time, she enjoys, hiking, trail running, working out and continuing her education. She believes the reason she enjoys leading her staff and team stems from the foundation her parents, coaches and teachers gave her in combination with the fact she was a gymnast. Life lessons are truly learned from stepping out of your comfort zone. Participating in any sport or art, especially gymnastics, ensures you are placed in this position.

Fun Facts: In the summers of 2007 and 2008 she was a dancer in Carnival du Fuego at Elitch Garden's in Denver, CO. Starting in 2006, she was a performer for Kevin Larson Presents and held the Entertainment Director position from 2007-2010. She also holds a blue belt in Tai Kwon Do.
